BCI was recently awarded a $5 million+ project with the Department of Water Resources to rehabilitate (3) pumping plants along the Sutter Bypass Canal and East Borrow Canal, located near Yuba City, CA. Work includes the installation of (E) 12kV Switchgear Lineups, (3) Custom Built Walk-in MCC buildings, (3) Standby Generators, CMU Buildings, Grounding Grids, new SCADA systems, and associated underground infrastructure. The pumping plants are to remain in operation during construction, therefore temporary power equipment will be installed and maintained during rehabilitation of the (E) electrical systems. This fast-track project will begin in April of 2011, and be complete by December 2011.
