LGVSD – Recycled Water Facility

This project consisted of the addition of a recycled water treatment plant at the existing wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) by the addition of membrane filter and UV disinfection equipment. The included modification and relocation of existing utilities including piping, manholes, chlorination facilities, and other updates as required to incorporate the new recycled water facility into the existing treatment process.

BCI received a subcontract ($1.3M) to furnish and install the electrical and instrumentation systems for this project. Work included installation of stainless steel conduit, stainless steel junction boxes, aluminum cable trays, Allen Bradley MCC’s, 800A Manual Transfer Switch, and various local control panels. With a project schedule of just 160 working days, submittals and material procurement were expedited to meet project deadlines. Work was completed in 2012.
